Crab Shack/Seaclusion

Long Beach

3 Bedrooms 2 Bathrooms 6 Sleeps 2160 sq. ft.

Ocean view home with path to the beach!

Seaclusion has lots to offer for family and friends wanting to escape to the beach. There is plenty of parking and space for those groups that are caravanning down Highway 101 wanting to enjoy Long Beach but be away from the fray.

The front door opens up to an inviting entryway that leads to the second floor. As you ascend, you'll be greeted by an open-concept layout adorned with expansive windows, creating an airy and spacious ambiance. This area is perfect for hosting memorable family dinners or savoring a delightful barbecue on the balcony. Each of the two bedrooms on this floor boasts its own generous-sized television, allowing you to enjoy your favorite shows without compromising the comfort of your bed.

Moving on to the third floor, the staircase unveils a breathtaking ocean view, complemented by a cozy seating area. Whether you prefer observing the rhythmic ocean waves from indoors or indulging in a movie night, the wall-mounted large TV adds to your entertainment options. Additionally, there's a king-size bed providing a delightful space to relax. You'll also find a full bathroom, ensuring convenience and comfort for all guests.

Things to explore on the Long Beach Peninsula – all 26+ miles of it. The Port of Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment are only a short drive away, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. Hike the trails at Beard’s Hollow – it’s a wonderful walk through the trees and past peaceful wetlands to the beach. There are some great art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months there’s Saturday Market too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. You can even see pirates at times. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. Or take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna or sturgeon. On the north end of the Peninsula is Ocean Park, with bookstores, restaurants and gift stores. Visit Jack’s Country Store to see this historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta, you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Ledbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay. There’s lots of wildlife to see in our local parks too. Keep your eyes open for bald eagles – we see many of them here.

A terrific weekend in the middle of December! We were blessed with fantastic weather, making night clam digging so much fun! The house was very comfortable and the kitchen spacious enough for more than 2 people. Easy access right to the beach. Great views!

Overall we had a really nice stay! The Crab Shack (or now known as Sea-clusion) is awesome for family vacationing together. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and quick walk to the beach. I think a neighbor may have have called Pacific Realty to report my relative walking our elderly, well mannered dog off leash as we got a friendly reminder of the policy via voice mail. Just something for other guests to be aware of when staying at the property. We would love to return!

Three sweet boys loved their time in the water as they don't see each other often. The house was perfectly laid out so everyone had space. Short walk to the beach made it perfect.

This is a beautiful, spacious, comfortable home. The kitchen in particular had everything you would want; you wouldn't have to bring anything. The beds were all very comfortable. The 3rd floor area has an ocean view, and it's an easy walk to the beach. You have to drive or bike to the nearest towns, but the privacy and quiet of the property was exactly what we needed. It's important to remember that the living areas and bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors; accessible only by stairs. That's wasn't a big deal for us, but it's a good thing to keep in mind. I loved that each bedroom had an escape ladder! All in all, it was a lovely place to stay.

Big, open space, nice big kitchen and huge bedrooms. The two and a half bathrooms were really nice to have. Could use more comfy furniture in the living room for hanging out after a long day of hiking in the state parks and playing on the beach. They were out of some of the cooking staples the listing said they had, like oil and pepper. A coded door lock would be nice to make checking in/out easier, rather than having to pick up and drop off the keys in town at the realty ??s office. Plus you wouldn ??t have to remember to take the keys with you every time you leave. The walk to the beach from the house was nice, and the dogs loved it, so we were glad it was pet friendly. Good location made it easy to get anywhere on the peninsula quickly, and we ended up having good weather, which was an unexpected bonus. Haha. Overall a very nice place to stay and enjoy the Long Beach area.

We cooked all our meals at the house and were super impressed with the kitchen, it had everything we needed. The upstairs with a view was great and comfortable for relaxing. The dune grass is beautiful and the walk to the beach is perfect for watching eagles. We will be back soon!!
